I LOVE to Read Month!

It is I LOVE to Read Month at Onamia Elementary!

Students can be read to, or read on their own. Please send the weekly sheets in each Tuesday. The minute amount needs to be written on the day and totaled in the last box. The minutes read will help them earn weekly jewels for their clock.

Weekly:
Blue Jewel = 50 minutes read
Green Jewel = 75 minutes read
Clear Jewel = 100 minutes read

Students who read more than 200 minutes in February will be invited to a 200-club party in March. We plan to go outside for fun in the snow and then come in for a treat and a free book.

The minutes read will also count for the Pizza Hut BOOK IT! program.
Anyone reading 300 minutes will get a coupon for a free personal pan pizza. Anyone with more than 330 minutes read will get a free book from Title I. (You do not have to fill out a separate calendar.)

For the Month:
Participation = 0-199 minutes read
BLUE = 200-349 minutes read
GREEN = 350-499 minutes read
CLEAR (like a diamond) = 500 + minutes read
